About Us

Welcome!

We’re a small group of fundraising professionals and volunteers who like to help where we can: at schools, animal shelters, food banks and other local groups, fundraisers for individuals, charity runs, you name it! FundraisingIP.com gives us the opportunity and a place to share with you all that we’ve learned.

Even though many of our articles mention the word “nonprofit,” you can apply the same tips and strategies for your school fundraisers, team fundraisers etc. as well.

Our mission is to

1. help you increase the amount of funds you raise and

2. help you save time doing so!

Because we know that whether you are raising funds for a school or team, or a nonprofit or other charitable group, your time is very valuable. Many of you are parents and caretakers like we are and have many other responsibilities. But despite being very busy every day, you still find time to help out! And we hope that through our site we can help you do that.

If you’d like to share any fundraising tips with us, or a fantastic new fundraising product or service, or anything related to non-profits and fundraising, please contact us, we’d like to hear from you!

1. Increase the Amount of Funds You Raise:

Most resources on our site will help you with your fundraising efforts which will, in turn, help you increase the amount of money you raise. But to keep things simple, start with

2. Save Time:

  • Visit our fundraising checklists. Keep track of your current and past fundraisers, volunteers and more.
  • Download our e-book with over 30 sample fundraising letters for many different occasions! These letters are perfect when you have to get an appeal out ‘yesterday’… You’ll get lots of ideas and samples for wording and content which will help you put together your fundraising letter in no time.
  • Search our site for “sample letters” (which are free to copy) here:

Each of these steps will save you lots of time now and in the future! And don’t forget to start a swipe file where you can save your group’s information about past fundraisers, slogans, logos, wording, vendors etc. No need to reinvent the wheel each time.

And if you’re thinking about volunteering, but aren’t sure if you have the time or you have other doubts, know that “Volunteers don’t necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” If you have a heart for your cause, don’t worry and get started. You’ll be able to make a difference and make it worth your time!

We’re proud to be able to provide you with unbiased fundraising information, because unlike many other fundraising sites, we don’t sell any fundraising  services. That means we get to write about any fundraising ideas and companies we like!

This also means that our site is still mainly supported through advertising. We know that that can be annoying at times – but we feel that advertising can also be useful because it shows all the newest fundraising companies, services and products that are available. There are so many, that it’s practically impossible to keep track of all of them! (Note: We do not endorse any company we write about, or whose ad or link we display.) Having said that, please let us know, if you feel our advertising is too intrusive, or inappropriate.

If you have any questions, comments, suggestions for us, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Finally, we wish you great success with your upcoming fundraiser!

Sincerely,

Your Friends at FundraisingIP.com
