Dear Parent,
I know that sometimes it can seem the requests for donations never stop, but this letter is for a different purpose:
To say, “Thank you!”
I wrote to you previously to thank you for all your support of OurHighSchool, and to illustrate to you the budget shortfall we were facing.
Today, I am happy to report that although not all of the parents were able to give the suggested $50.00, others were able to give more than that, and we were able to meet the budget for most of the main programs we greatly value and depend on here at OurHighSchool! Music programs were able to carry on, art projects were followed through, and field trips were taken to educate students outside the four walls of the classroom.
So, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you, and to let you know that through your generosity, the lives of our students here at OurHighSchool have been so very positively impacted!
I’d also like to invite you to an informal exhibit at our school:
Please stop by at the art department at our school on [date] to visit an exhibit organized by our students, that includes photos, videos and art of all the projects your donations have supported this year. Our students will be available to guide you through the exhibit and answer questions about the works displayed.
